From the Magee Police Department:
On 1/13/24 at or around 10:00 am Magee Police Department dispatch received a call of an individual shot at SASE apartments on Raleigh Drive.
Officers arrived and found the victim deceased from an apparent single gun shot wound. The victim was identified as Mitchell Page. Through the course of the investigation Magee Police Department identified a 14yo male juvenile as being with the victim at the time of the shooting. The juvenile and the victim were playing with the gun when it accidentally discharged fatally wounding Page. The case will be turned over to the district attorney’s office for further review.

    Wow ….. How many more young kids are we going to have to lose before this gets under control?? Something has to be done to stop this crazy nonsense. We have lost far too many young lives in just this last year. We are not gonna have anybody to care on our legacy. So sad for this family and friends. God bless and be with both families 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻 .
