Magee girls and boys soccer teams faced overtime against Crystal Springs Monday, December 17, 2018 at Trojan Field.
Magee girls would go into overtime with a tied score of 2-2.
Scoring goals for the Trojans during regular regulation were Kayleigh Rials and Ashleigh Russell.
Leah Martin scored the winning goal during overtime to give the Trojans a win by a score of 3-2.
Magee boys would go down quickly. Crystal Springs wasted no time scoring twice. Magee’s own Mason Curlee would score minutes before half to put points on the board.
Crystal Springs would lead at half by a score of 3-1. Magee came out after halftime fired up and ready to play. Magee scored quickly to bring score within one point. Magee would tie the game to force overtime. Magee would fall short during overtime losing by a point to Crystal Springs.
The teams are back in action Thursday as they travel to Franklin County to take on a good team.
