Mell Ann Winter Scarborough, 63, died July 18, 2019, at Simpson General Hospital. She was born July 31, 1955, to John Travis Winter, Jr. and Mary Louise Broome.

Mell Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Mendenhall. She was a family Nurse Practioner and was dedicated to her patients well being. She will be remembered for her quick wit, loving nature and her desire to help others.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Travis Winter, Jr. and Mary Louise (Broome) Winter.

Mell Ann is survived by her husband Tim Scarborough and son John Scarborough; sister, Danita Winter Quebedeau; niece, Jennifer Q. Wagner (Kyle); brother, Gary Travis Winter (Mollie) and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, July 21 at 12:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., all at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS.
