(April 29, 1945 – September 5, 2022)

Rev. Wayne Daniel Sullivan, 77, of Mize, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, September 5, 2022, at his home surrounded by all of his babies. He was born Sunday, April 29, 1945, in Smith County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Baptist Church on SCR 64, Mize, Mississippi, and on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Rev. Dan Perry will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Rev. Sullivan was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, daddy, and Daddy – Dub.  He enjoyed spreading the Word of God, helping others, and most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Glen; parents, Earl and Levodia; brothers, Randall and Breland; and sister, Eva Nell.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years and seven months, Miranda of Mize, MS; three daughters, JJ (Monk) of Sorrento, LA, Char (Chris) of Richland, MS and Ann (Mark) of Mize, MS; three grandchildren, Mike (Zara), Curt, and Jon; great-grandchildren, Bray and Ray; honorary-daughter, Amy of Mize, MS; one brother, Benton (Linda) of Mize, MS; one sister, Virginia Faye of Martinville, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Monk, Chris, Mark, Mike, Curt, and Jon.

Honorary pallbearer will be Bray.
