Peggy Jo Arender

Peggy Jo Arender, 75, passed away on July 12, 2026. She was born on September 9, 1950, to Luther and Ethel Welch.

Along with her parents, Luther and Ethel Welch, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Welch; her sister, Sue Goodman; and her brother-in-law, Don Goodman.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Arender; son, Joey Arender (Belinda); daughters, Heather Robertson (Ronnie) and Angie Moore (Tommy); brother, G.L. Welch (Paula); sisters, Betty Bradshaw (Joe) and Pat Davis (Larry); grandchildren, Blake Arender, Brock Arender, Kyle Bynum, Erica Willis, Justin Bynum, Madie Spencer, and Ryan Spencer; and three great-grandchildren.

Peggy was a devoted wife of 56 years, mother, and grandmother. She loved traveling, gardening, and fishing as well as attending events for all of her children and grandchildren wherever they needed her. Peggy enjoyed being outside in nature and absolutely loved crawfish. Peggy always put the Lord first. She was a people pleaser and absolutely loved her two dogs, Rowdy and Bandit.
