Dale Delane Ferguson of Magee, Mississippi

Dale Delane Ferguson, 63, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, September 14, 1957, in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at New Life Fellowship Church in Mendenhall, Mississippi, and on Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Fellowship Church. The burial will follow in New Life Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro Gary Phillips and Bro. Jonathan Phillips will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mr. Ferguson was a charter member of New Life Fellowship Church of Mendenhall.  He had a great love for his church family, but his greatest love was to his savior.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family, church, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Ferguson and Margie Thompson Ferguson; seven brothers, S.A. Ferguson, Garland Ferguson, James Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, and Glen Ferguson; and two sisters, Jannette Huddleston and Kathy Cole.

Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Alice Pearce Ferguson of Magee; one son, Daniel Ferguson and wife, Chante’ of Mendenhall; two daughters, Shelly Ferguson Warren and husband, John of Mize, and Jennifer Ferguson Mobbs and husband, Darrell of Mendenhall; nine grandchildren, Gaven Ferguson, Ethan Warren, Jaden Warren, Madelyn Ferguson, Sophia Warren, Axton Mobbs, Aaron Warren, Rhiley Mobbs, and Emmett Mobbs; four brothers, Delin Ferguson and wife, Gail, Anthony Ferguson and wife, Sue, Terry Ferguson and wife, Barbara, and Danny Ferguson, all of Magee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Ferguson, Chris Ferguson, Chad Little, Gary Pearce, Jonathan Phillips, Darrell Mobbs, Ethan Warren, and Gaven Ferguson.
