Cyril Marc McArthur, 71, of Mount Olive, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, June 27th at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, June 19, 1948.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Magee. The Burial will follow in Brady Cemetery in Prentiss, Mississippi.  Dr. Jim Taylor will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

McArthur was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee where he taught Sunday school and led bible study on Tuesday nights. He was a retired pharmacist who worked at Collins, Magee, and Mendenhall. He was a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where he got a Doctorate in Pharmacy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bennett McArthur; grandson, Gabriel McArthur; parents, Cyril McArthur and Gervaise McArthur.

Survivors include his wife, Sue McArthur; son, Seth McArthur (Christina); grandchildren, Lilly McArthur, Noah McArthur, Sophie McArthur, and Jack McArthur; sister, Joy Griffith (Henry); a host of nieces and nephews.
