I am starting  2020 in a good way!  We got a new Wendy’s sign.  The glass was cleaned up in the shopping center parking lot near the old Jose’.  Now, I can check off another “wish”…the turn lanes at the red light near McDonald’s and highway 49 have been repainted!  Praises…we can see which way to go/turn…and our visitors will have a clue how to proceed onto highway 49.

Mayor Dale Berry is announcing at the Board of Aldermen meeting (which is live streamed on MageeNews.com FB page beginning at 6:30) Tuesday night  that he has a “Sweep the Streets” plan!  Mayor Berry intends for all streets in the city to be swept!  Hot dog…we may get clean yet!

MDOT to the rescue!

Now if we can just get the highway lights working on highway 49.  21 lights are out on the highway…sounds like a recipe for disaster.  (This is a Southern Pine issue!)

Enjoy your day!

Thanks to MDOT for repainting the turn lanes entertaining Highway 49!
