Zera Mae Whitehead Morrow, 80 of Ellisville, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, March 12, 1942, in Harrisville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi.  will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mrs. Morrow was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed sewing and helping people in need, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morrow; father, Walter Whitehead; mother, Lula Mae Brock Whitehead Rhodes; and brother, Percy Whitehead.

Survivors include her one daughter, Carla Wade of Ellisville, MS; one son, John Lott (Linda) of Canton, MS; one step-son, Charles “Chuck” Morrow (Wendy) of Braxton, MS; one step-daughter, Peggy Ainsworth of Morton, MS; seven grandchildren, Erik Hammond of Ellisville, MS, Keaton Lee of Ellisville, MS, W. Kirk Lee of Ellisville, MS, Nicole Morrow Brown (Danniel) of Mendenhall, MS, Skyla Morrow, Sonja Caves of Braxton, MS, and Dewayne Ainsworth of Braxton, MS; five great-grandchildren, Jaxson Hammond of Ellisville, MS, Madilyn Lee of Ellisville, MS, Bryson Brown of Mendenhall, MS, Cheyanne Caves of Braxton, MS, and Mason Caves of Braxton, MS; two brothers, David Whitehead (Sharon) of TX and Emmette Whitehead (Janet) of KY; and a special friend, Arrie Purvis of Puckett, MS.
