The Wreaths Across America 18 wheeler truck arrived in Magee Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:45 PM. Lee Roberts and Blake Sullivan of the City of Magee were available to unload the boxes of wreaths.

The wreaths were free anyone wanting to place a wreath on a veteran’s grave.

Veteran W. C. Allen along with several others helped distribute the wreaths. W. C. was taking wreaths to the Magee Cemetery as well as New Hope Cemetery.

Thank you to the people who placed wreaths on veterans’ graves

All across the country, Wreaths Across America was celebrated on December 15. The goal of this day is to honor and celebrate the many men and women who have served this country. Those remembered go as far back as Revolutionary War conflicts. Thank you to all who have served!
