Mayor Dale Berry, Hugh Dilmore City Department head, Mark Broome of Landmark (engineer), and Mr Cohen (underground maintenance) met at Cypress Pointe Sub-division to discuss issues in the area with the natural underground water and sewer lines. Owner Chris Lane purchased the equipment for the job. The city installed the sewage and water lines.
Following the huge rain fall during the spring, problems have been found with the drainage of the sewer system. Chris Lane has questioned if the equipment was installed correctly from the very beginning.
The city is looking into the problem and hopes to rectify the situation.
Cypress Pointe is the lates sub-division built in Magee. The area is on 11th Avenue. Several houses have been built in Cypress Pointe. Chris Lane is in the process of opening Phase 3 of Cypress Pointe.
