WHAT KIND OF NEIGHBOR ARE YOU?
Do you know the person or families name who lives across the street from you? Our reading today comes from Matthew 5:44. But I say unto you love your enemies bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.
God tells us to love everybody. Don’t let color come between you and them. If you were walking across a bridge and someone called out to you for help for they were drowning. What would you do help them or let them drown? This person may or may not be someone you care for. We as a child of God must help those who are in need of salvation. Tell them how to become a child of God and do it because you truly care.
Just because someone has done something bad to you does not mean you have to do something bad to them. Kindness does more things to someone than anything. Don’t gloat when someone falls. Be kind to them and lend a helping hand. Put the love God has for you in action. Find the good in everyone. Let Jesus open your eyes and heart to someone in need today.
