Besides spending time with family and friends, Wendell loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Sherry (Barrett) Anderson; sons, Phillip Erwin Anderson (Brittany), James William Anderson; mother, Fay Anderson; brother, Benny Anderson; sister, Melinda James; grandchildren, Jaydon Anderson, Jestin Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernice Edward Anderson; brother, Kendell Anderson and beloved niece, Bethany James.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Tutor Chapel in Magee with Bro. Joe Metts officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
