The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 2 Corinthians 4:17: “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” We know that while living on this earth in our mortal bodies, we will endure hardships and pain. For those who have claimed God as their Lord and Savior, however, there is hope beyond this mortal coil. We know that God will keep His promises, and there’ll be eternal life awaiting us beyond the blue horizon. So, while here, we endure, but we keep the faith, and we strive for hope beyond the present. What awaits the Christian is beyond our wildest imaginings. It will be worth it all just to see His face. Amen!
