The Scripture chosen for today is found in Hebrews 12:28: “Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” We Christians are herein reminded that we are heirs to God’s kingdom and all that encompasses; therefore, He is, indeed, and above all, worthy of our reverence and awe. We are to enter His portals with thanksgiving, singing songs of praise, while showing the utmost respect for being given the opportunity to be counted among the throng of fellow believers. Serve the Lord with gladness! Amen!
