We have received reports some organizations inaccurately reported that voters who did not bring proper photo identification to the polls on Election Day had to present their photo ID by 7:00 p.m. in order for their vote to be counted.
Voters who do not present valid photo identification have five business days from the date of the election (Tuesday, August 11th) to present valid photo ID to their Circuit Clerk’s Office or obtain a free, Mississippi Voter ID card.
As always, please do not hesitate to call or email if you have any questions and I am happy to help.
