Tommy Meador Chosen for the Lions International Melvin Jones Award

The Magee Lions Club honored Lion Tommy Meador with the Melvin Jones Award.  
This Fellowship Award is the highest form of recognition and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism.
The Melvin Jones Award is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a member of Lions International. Lion Tommy Meador was recognized for his 50 years of membership and service to the Magee Lions Club.
Lion Tommy Meador currently services as Chairman of the Sight Committee for the Magee Lions Club.
Pictured with Lion Tommy Meador (left) is former District Governor and also a Melvin Jones recipient Lion James Smith. This is the fourth member of the Magee Lions Club to receive this prestigious award. Former recipients are Lions James Smith, John Mark WIlliams, Gerald Regel, and the late Tommy Everett.
