Thelma Jane Craft, 73, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, September 26, 1947, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
A private family burial will follow at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
Mrs. Craft was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was retired from the Taylorsville Police Department as a Dispatcher. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover E. Van Chandler and Hettie Mildred Greene Chandler; one son, Jody Craft; and three siblings, Candis Elizabeth Royals, Grover Allen Chandler, and Hettie Catherine Smith.
Survivors include her one daughter, Kim Craft Horn and husband, Don of Brandon; four grandsons, Jackson Dukes, Joe Dukes, Matthew Craft, and Adam Craft (Allie); two sisters, Betty Carolyne Johnson of Collins and Norma Rose Jones of Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
