Susan Gaye Paul Miner passed away on December 6, 2022, in Mendenhall, MS. She was born on May 11, 1951, to Albert Ray Paul and Stacy Lucille Jackson Paul.
She graduated from Harrisville School in 1969. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Belhaven University. She spent the majority of her career working for the Army National Guard USPFO as a computer analyst and specialist. She spent some time working in Washington, DC.
Susan retired from the USPFO a few years ago. Through the years, her love for travel took her to many places and started friendships that lasted throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed all things flowers, including gardening and landscaping. She adored her dog, Izzy and loved spending time with friends and family, especially her brothers and sisters. She was an avid piano player and spent time serving as a church pianist.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Miner; son, Chris Shurlds (Paige); daughter, Kelli Fewell (Walt); brothers, Albert Paul Jr. (Gay), George Paul (Perrie), Roy Paul (Penny), sister Vie Cooper (Dennis); grandchildren, Hannah Fewell, Kennedy Fewell, Ridge Fewell, Jamie Whiteley (Cheyanne); great grandchildren, Caroline Whiteley, Copelynn Whiteley, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Stacy Paul.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
