Simpson County Board of Supervisors met Friday, April 24, 2020 to discuss bids for ambulance service and other business.
The board received three bids fro ambulance service from ASAP, CAREMED, and PAFFORD. After careful review the board agreed to hire ASAP Ambulance service with 4 ALS ambulances at a cost of $75,000.00. Attached is a copy fo all bids.
Road Manager, Ben Warren, reported 7 of 10 big culverts have been installed in the needed areas where roads had been closed. The roads are now back open and full operation.
The board granted permission to hire temporary summer help due to no inmate assess during COVID-19 Pandemic. Douglas May and Robert Shows were approved for hire in the road department.
Sheriff Paul Mullins was granted permission by the board for the following:
- Paul Mullins to attend the rescheduled Mississippi Sheriff’s Conference in Biloxi, Ms July 27-31, 2020.
- Approved the Omnigo software in the amount of $14,497.08.
- Approval of AD&S Inc. software extended warranty in the amount of $3,000.00.
The board approved for Belinda Stewart Architects for repairs to the Simpson County Courthouse Roof.
