LAUREL, Miss. – December 18, 2025 –South Central Behavioral Health recently welcomed Licensed Certified Social Worker Michelle Elizabeth Howard to the team.
Howard has over 20 years of experience working with a variety of patients, including college students, veterans, inmates and the general population. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2003 and her master’s degree in social work in 2006 from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her licensed master social worker certification in 2007 and her LCSW certification in 2016.
“I am eager to serve patients and to work alongside all of the talented physicians and other healthcare professionals at South Central,” Howard said.
Howard joins the staff at South Central Behavioral Health, where she uses evidence-based therapies to treat a variety of emotional and behavioral disorders.
