Small Town Big Mayor Coming Our Way!

Spending several hours with John Henry Berry is quite interesting…to say the least.  The Mayor of D’Lo is wide open on his UP-TV series scheduled for airing in August.  The show “Small Town Big Mayor” is on a roll…filming of the next 10 episodes is taking place in D’Lo.  The filming crew will remain in Simpson County until May 1^st.

 

John Henry called and asked me if I would be “on the show” as a reporter!!!  I was to interview Mrs. Ruth his Vice-Mayor!  Now, who can turn down a call from Los Angles by a producer to “join in the fun.”  So, Patrice, Michael and I head to D’Lo Friday for the filming of the scene.  “This will take about an hour,” the producer told me…not …several hours later we had “filmed” our scene and a few more!

 

What I couldn’t get over is that you film forever and only use about 15 seconds.  I don’t particularly like being on camera…but I’ll do what I need to promote MageeNews.com and Simpson County.

We had fun…we got tired…we laughed…we “rolled” our eyes…but forward we went.

 

John Henry also informed me that the show is going international!  The rights to Small Town Big Mayor are now global…just saying, John Henry may be an international star and D’Lo will be known all over the world.
