Simpson volleyball defeated the Richland Rangers at Richland on Monday, October 4. The varsity, junior varsity and middle school teams won each of their matches.
The middle school team started the night well with a 2-1 win against the Rangers.
The JV team followed suit with a 2-1 win as well.
Simpson’s varsity team got off to a strong start, winning the first set 25-14 only to lose a close second set 25-23. Simpson rallied after the loss, winning the next two sets 25-17 and 25-22.
Regular season play ends Thursday, October 7 when the Lady Cougars face Petal High School at home.
