Simpson County Votes Yes to Flag & Marijuana

Simpson County was inline with the State of Mississippi in their vote for the new flag and legalizing marijuana.

Simpson County voted yes to Trump, Cindy Hyde Smith, Michael Guest, and Mike Randolph (unopposed)

Only one precinct in the county, Harrisville, voted against marijuana.  The count was Approval for either:  199

Against:  218.

Braxton one was the only precincts not voting for the new flag.  Yes:  301 and No:  304.

All results are incomplete and unofficial.

Michael Guest:  6635

Mike Randolph was unopposed for Supreme Court District 2

All election commissioners were unopposed as was the school board position.

Marijuana Vote:

For approval of either:  5759

Against Both:  3391

Initiative:

For Initiative 65:  5765

For Alternative 65A:  2310

House Resolution No 47:

Yes:  7357

No:  2244

Flag Referendum :

No:  3596
