According to the MS Department of Transportation Article published Tuesday, January 22, 2019 on MageeNews.com https://mageenews.wpengine.com/transportation-commission-approves-projects-for-emergency-road-and-bridge-repair-fund/ Simpson County will receive funding for Three road/bridge projects.
Simpson County Heed Neely Road will receive $527,511.05 of funding. New Hebron ‐Jackson Road will receive $350,750.00 of funding, and Star Braxton Road will receive $293,250.00 of funding.

Simpson County Supervisors have been awaiting funds for these projects for months. Hopefully work can begin shortly on these projects.
