Simpson County Distinguished Young Women Program

Bella Broadhead, Simpson County’s 2023 DYW, ended her reign on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The program was held at First Baptist Church Mendenhall. There were four contestants competing for the 2024 DYW. These girls were judged on interview, self-expression, and fitness. There were 8 scholarships ready to be claimed. Taylor Bridges, Ralea Hanna, Chloe Teasley, and Kinsley Welch were the four contestants.

Taylor Bridges attends Mendenhall Highschool. Her talent was a color guard routine.

Ralea Hanna attends Mendenhall Highschool. Her talent was playing the piano.

Chloe Teasley attends Mendenhall Highschool. Her talent was dance.

Kinsley Welch attends Simpson Academy. Her talent was poetry.
