Simpson Center names Magee, Thornton Hall of Fame

Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Simpson County Center named sophomores Emily Magee and Hannah Thornton to the prestigious 2020-2021 Hall of Fame during their annual awards day ceremony. This is the highest honor bestowed on a student by the college.

Emily Magee of Magee is the daughter of David and the late Connie Magee. She serves as Vice President of Service for the Beta Xsi Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She was selected as a Campus Favorite and a sophomore homecoming maid. Emily was selected to the Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team. She is a member of the Trailblazers, the Alpha Omega Bible Club, and Student Government Association.

Hannah Thornton of Magee is the daughter of Joe and Jen Thornton. She was selected as Miss Co-Lin, a sophomore homecoming maid and to Who’s Who at Co-Lin. Hannah is a member of the Alpha Omega Bible Club, Vice President of the Beta Xsi Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, and sophomore representative for Student Government Association. She was also selected as a William Winter Scholar and to the PTK All-Mississippi Academic Team.
