Ryan Chance Brewer of Taylorsville, Mississippi

Ryan Chance Brewer, 23, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home Monday, January 4, 2021, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born Monday, November 3, 1997, in Flowood, Mississippi.

            Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville, Mississippi.

            Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, in Magee, Mississippi. Bro David Hays and Mr. Ron Mosley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564

            Ryan was a member of Union Baptist Church of Raleigh.  He was a loving son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, and friend.  He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, mud riding, playing music, and spending time with his friends that he loved dearly.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

            He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Brewer and Herman McKee.

            Survivors include his loving parents, Billy Brewer and Stephanie Anderson Brewer of Taylorsville; one brother, Isaac Brewer and wife, Kimberly of Ellisville; one sister, Brianna Brewer of Taylorsville; grandparents, Lennie Brewer of Magee, Annis McKee of Taylorsville, and Joe and Shirley Anderson of Magee; girlfriend, Summer Walston of Taylorsville; and a host of other family members and friends.

            Pallbearers will be Albert Brewer, Jake Brewer, Will Bryant, Brett Anderson, Josh Robinson, and Macaleb Magee.
