Ruby J Sullivan, 80 of Aberdeen, MS passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Care Center of Aberdeen. She was born Monday, June 15, 1942 in Webster County, Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 09, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Merchant Cemetery in Raleigh, Mississippi. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

  Mrs. Sullivan was a member of East Starkville Baptist Church. She graduated from Mathiston High School in 1960. She attended Jones Business School in Jackson, Mississippi. She retired from Weavexx. She was married to the former Thomas Sullivan of Smith County, Mississippi on May 19, 1961, and to this union three children were born.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J.  Sullivan of 56 years;  daughter, Cynthia  Sullivan;  father, Eckford  Latham;  mother, Betty Yates;  step-father, Cullen Yates;  step-mother, Elsie  Latham; brothers, Leslie (Wayne) Latham and James (Buddy) Latham;

  Survivors include her sons, Randy  Sullivan  (Lorie) of Rutherfordton , NC and Teddy Sullivan  of Starkville , MS;  grandchildren, Chasity  Wilson, Richard  Wilson, Shelley  Dukes, Candy  Fowler, Glenn  Fowler, and Sara  Thibeadux;  great- grandchildren, Caden  Wilson, Emma  Wilson, Ava Wilson and Savannah  Reynolds;  sisters, Linda  Fowler, Margaret  Dukes and Patsy  Fowler; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins ,and friends;  brother-in-law, Junior Sullivan  (Jackie).
