Roger David Lack of Mize, Mississippi

Roger David Lack, 75, passed away on January 10, 2019, at his home near Mize, MS.

He was born on April 20, 1943 to the late David Madison Lack (D. M.) Lack and Wilma Sellers Lack.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Sullivan Lack, of 51 years; one daughter, Dawn Lack Lott (Owen), Mize, MS; one son Jason Lack (Margaret), Ellisville, MS; one sister, Jerry Lack Russell (Billy), Summit, MS; two brothers, Ronnie Lack (June), Mize, MS and Steve Lack, Mize, MS. Grandchildren Garrett Shows, Catie Beth Lott, Mize, MS, Brittney Lack, Tyler Lack, and Hunter Lack, Ellisville, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Roger David Lack, Jr., and a sister-in-law, Nancy Easterling Lack.

Mr. Lack was a graduate of Mize High School, Jones County Junior College, and The University of Southern Mississippi where he earned a degree in Industrial Engineering.  He had a prosperous career and was successful business owner.  He was a charter member of Maranatha Baptist Church near Mize where he served as a deacon.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS.

There will be a short visitation Sunday January 13 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church and the funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church near Mize.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
