The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Deuteronomy 33:12: “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between His shoulders.” What a beautiful picture of God holding and protecting one of His children! Did your father ever hoist you upon his back or shoulders and carry you? What a comfort that can be for any child to know he’s loved so deeply. Well, the believer has that same comfort and assurance when he puts his complete trust in God and accepts Him as his Lord and Savior. If our earthly father has given us good things, how much more will our heavenly Father give us? Amen and amen!
