POWER OF PRAYER

When you eat do you pray and give God the glory for it?  In our reading today we see Jesus prayed over five loaves of bread and two fish.  The food fed five thousand men.  After everyone had eat all of them were full.  There were twelve baskets full of bread and some fish left over.

What an awesome God we serve.  Our devotion comes from Mark 6:41-42.  And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fishes He looked up to Heaven and blessed (gave thanks) and brake the loaves and gave them to His disciples to set before them and the two fishes divided among them all.  And they did all eat and were filled.

Jesus in this story tells us give thanks for what we have and it will be multiplied beyond our imagination.  Have you discovered the power of prayer in your life yet?

It does not cost anything but a few moments of your time.  In the long run it is worth it all.

Father thank you for the privilege of prayer in our life.  Thank you for taking time to listen to us.  In your name above all others we pray.  Have a blessed and victorious week.
