Patrick J Kent, Jr., 71, of Pinola, passed from this life on January 4, 2017 at U M C Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Bro. Jim Deweese will officiate. Burial will be in Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Surviving family members are, his wife, Karon L Kent, Sons, Jason Butler (Nicole), and Johnathan R Butler, Daughters, Charity Martin, and Angela Kent, Brother, Frances “Bud” Kent, Sister, Patricia Cody, 20 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren,
Preceded in death by, Parents, Patrick J. Kent, Sr. and Gertrude Kent.
Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Martin, Christopher Martin, Joseph Martin, Brad McAfee, Mark Kent, Alex Butler, Brandon Butler, and Honorary pallbearer, Keifer Cody.
