Patricia Dee Rice, 71, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Monday, February 21, 1949, Rock Hill, South Carolina.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
Mrs. Rice was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Shirley McKeeby; one son, Charles D. Rice; three sisters, Shirley Flores, Nina Freeman, and Annie Ruth Hawes; four brothers, Raymond Hawes, Wallace Hawes, Floyd Hawes, and Cecil Tanner; and former spouse, Thomas Rice.
Survivors include three daughters, Celest Wade of Phelan, CA, Lori Craft and husband, John, of Magee and Amber Mendez and husband, Joseph, of Magee; two sons, Daniel Rice and wife, Sharron, of Dahlonega, GA , and Dustin Rice and wife, Donna, of Magee; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
