Myrtis Walker, 78, was born May 3, 1939 in Magee, MS. She joined her Savior June 21, 2017.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 from 9-10am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, with funeral services following at 10am at Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS.
Mrs. Walker was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church family and was loved by all. She devoted her life to caring for others and sharing her faith with everyone she knew.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Walker; 2 brothers, Thurman Waters and Pete Waters; one sister, Billie Ainsworth; nephew, Tullos and great-nephew, Tate.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Amason (Wes); two grandchildren, Bryan Offutt (Melissa), Brandon Offutt (Amy); great-granddaughter, Karlie; nieces, Judy (Pinky) Diane, Lisa (Bobby) and nephew Harold Ray (Rhonda), and numerous great nieces.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Offutt, Brandon Offutt, Harold Ray Ainsworth, Bobby Boykin, and Scott Ramsey.
