“Moe” Danny Kenneth Wilson, 65 of Collins

“Moe” Danny Kenneth Wilson, 65 of Collins, MS passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Collins, Mississippi.  He was born Thursday, April 30, 1959 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in 205 S 4th St., Mt. Olive, Mississippi.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 04, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mt. Olive, MS. Burial will follow in Collins City Cemetery in Collins, Mississippi. Bro. Michael Miller will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements.

Moe was loved by all that met him. He was a successful business man in all endeavors. Moe enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and the outdoors. He was known for his many trips a day to town. If at any time you needed to find him, everyone knew to just sit at the shop he would be coming down the road shortly. He was a man of many words. Moe never met a stranger. Whether it be off traveling on one of his many adventures in or out of state, he always ran across someone he knew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Fuzz” Wilson;  brother, Jimmy “Snuff” Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Boleware Wilson of Collins, MS; daughters, Krissy Wilson Mooney (Matt) , Trish Wilson Costanza (RJ) , Kristen Matheny Dixon (Matt); sons, Brandon Childress and Jeremy Childress of Collins;  mother, Rachel Wilson of Taylorsville;  brothers, Paul Wilson (Diane) of Tylertown and Eddie Ralph”Wolf” Wilson (Jennifer) of Florence;  grandsons, Kris Wilson Costanza, Kole Riels Costanza, Charlie Childress, Kanyon Dixon, and Landen “Fud” Pickett;  granddaughter, Kayleigh Dixon, and Lauren Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wilson, Justin Wilson, Cory Wilson, Sean Gibson, Eric Gibson, Scotty “Tobe” McRaney, Mitch “Grabber” McGrew, Jack “Rip” Knight, Layne McLaurin, and Jerry Mac McLaurin.
