Establishment of an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Offering of ASC Services

Capital Expenditure: $5,315,378.00

Location: Madison, Madison County, Mississippi

Written comments for or against the proposals will be accepted from any affected party within the period of fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice or by July 4, 2023. However, since July 4, 2023, is a Holiday, written comments will be accepted until Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

The staff analysis will be available and online by July 24, 2023. Any person may request copies of any staff analysis by contacting this office in writing. A minimum charge of $5.00 is required for each copy.

The governing legislation and the Mississippi State Department of Health rules provide that any person directly affected by the proposal may request a public hearing during the course of review. To be effective, the request for a public hearing must be received by the Department within ten (10) days of the date of publication of the staff analysis and must be accompanied by the required $6,000 hearing fee.
