Children, ages 12 and under, are encouraged to arrive at the museum bright and early with their own Easter basket, as the much anticipated egg hunt will begin at noon. In addition to the egg hunt, families will have the opportunity to dye and paint eggs, take a wagon, train or carousel ride, get their face painted, visit with Mississippi Miss Hospitality Anna McDaniel, and even take pictures with the Easter Bunny throughout the day.

The Mississippi Beef Council will serve complimentary hotdogs to visitors. Additional sponsors include Cal-Maine Foods and Visit Jackson. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children ages three to 18.

Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson is thrilled to host such a fun-filled event at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.

“I am looking forward to seeing hundreds of families head out to the Ag Museum to celebrate Easter this year with our annual Easter egg hunt,” he said. “I invite everyone from across the state to come enjoy this wonderful event.”
