MDWFP Law Enforcement Cadets Graduate from MLEOTA

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) proudly announces the remarkable achievement of nine exceptional cadets who graduated from The Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers’ Training Academy (MLEOTA) on Thursday, September 19,2024. The mission of the academy is to enhance public safety in Mississippi by providing professional law enforcement training to state, county, and local law enforcement agencies.
With multiple agencies participating, and 48 graduates, MDWFP is proud to announce the following cadets received well-deserved honors that spotlight their exceptional capabilities:
The MDWFP takes immense pride in the accomplishments of all the cadets who have successfully completed their training at MLEOTA. Their diligence, resilience, and commitment to service highlight the bright future that lies ahead for them.
In addition to MLEOTA, these cadets will have also completed an additional 13 weeks at the Mississippi Conservation Officer Training Academy (MCOTA).
The graduating class, consisting of James Wood, Richard Johnson, Billie Nicole Waltman, Zackary Bagwell, Cole Galloway, Adam Haygood, Chase Kennedy, John McElwain, and Austin Wooldridge, represents the embodiment of the MDWFP’s core values and commitment to excellence.
