Both drives will be held Thursday, September 2, 10-4 and all donors will receive a $10 visa!! Donations at Magee General count towards Magee, and those at Mendenhall Library to Mendenhall. Winner will be announced Friday night at the big game!
MBS Presents the Simpson County Blood Bowl, Part 2
MAGEE, Miss. — Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is sponsoring a blood drive competition between the Magee Trojans and the Mendenhall Tigers. The high school blood drives have already taken place but for anyone who would like to support their favorite team, MBS will be holding blood drives in both Magee and Mendenhall tomorrow, September 2nd, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The MBS donor coaches will be at Magee General Hospital and at the Mendenhall Library. Donors will receive a $10 Visa at either drive.
Donating blood is safe, simple and it saves lives. Donors must be at least 16 years old (16-year-olds need signed parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and have a valid ID.
