Mayor Dale Berry discussed at Tuesday night, March 17, 2020, Board of Aldermen meeting problems with the Water and Street Departments.
Mayor Berry felt the departments were not working to their potential; therefore, costing the tax payers money. Berry explained that the board and mayor are the stewards of the tax payers money.
Several aldermen expressed their displeasure with the departments and sited reasons for their displeasure.
The Board will continue to examine and find a solution to the lack of production in the departments. Consideration may be given to hiring an outside firm to handle the street department.
