The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 19:14: “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, oh, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Here we have the psalmist speaking to God, paying homage and tribute to the One in whom he puts his total trust and allegiance. He assures God of his love and and wishes to please Him in word, in thought, and in deed. We, too, should do likewise by striving to think pure thoughts and speak words of encouragement that would build up and edify others.
Today, let’s keep in prayer the families who are suffering from the devastation and loss of life and property during last night’s storm system. Also, as we go about our day, be sure to share the love, joy, and kindness to all with whom we come in contact. Let’s always strive to please God.
Happy Saturday!
