 Mary E McCool, 85 of Taylorsville passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, March 24, 1937 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church on Hwy 37, Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 07, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh Mississippi. Bro. Rich Ables and Bro. Stanley Doggett will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

 She was a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church in Raleigh. She was the best loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harold McCool; parents, Huey and Myrtle Henderson; grandchild, Katie McCool; brother, James Melvin Henderson.

  Survivors include her one son, John  B  McCool  (Renee) of New Hebron ,MS;  one daughter, Vanessa  Moseley  (Darrell) of Taylorsville , MS;  three grandchildren, Ben  Smith (Amy ) of Hattiesburg, Amanda  Smith of Birmingham, Alabama and Hunter McCool (Haley ) of Petal;  one brother, Elvin Henderson (Mary) of Taylorsville;  two sisters, Betty  Thornton  (Joe) of Shoshone, Idaho and Ruby  Schillenger (Robert ) of Taylorsville; three great- grandchildren, MacKenzie  Smith  of Hattiesburg, Collins Smith  of Hattiesburg and Allie Smith  of Hattiesburg; and host of  nieces and nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Chad McCool, Matt McCool, Timmy Sims, Scotty Clark, Shannon Bruce, and Roger Carey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Weathersby and Jerry Fields.
