Marilyn Lewone Bowman was born July 28, 1961, to parents of Willie Alice & Pat Tucker and Albert Frank May. She was the youngest of eight siblings. After high school she found the love of her life, Russell Stanley Bowman . Fourteen years later they welcome their daughter, Hunter Lewone Bowman, into this world. Marilyn was a woman of unwavering faith. She knew the Lord and walked with him daily. She was always ready and prepared to pray when you needed her to. I know she prayed without even being asked. Her faith in the Lord was one that most people wished they had, and many wanted. Marilyn lived an amazing and bountiful life. She transcended her earthy home hearing the voice of her angel on earth, her daughter Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Stanley Bowman; parents, Albert Frank May and Willie Alice Tucker and Pat Tucker; brother, Phillip May; sister,  Patsie Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter,  Hunter  Lewone Bowman; sisters, Frankie Clark (Zane) and Catherine Buffington (Oz); brothers, Larry Palmer, Ricky May (Sherry) and  Donald May (Kathy).

Pallbearers will be Johnny Frank Odom, Rocky Odom, Josh Lamon, Donald May, Jr., Bubba Noland, Austin Odom, and Albert Noland.
