Over the years, The Christmas Shop at FBC Magee has helped countless families. Social media has always been a wonderful avenue to help us get the items needed. We have gotten a later start than normal, and our donations have been slow to come in. If everyone who reads this would donate an item of clothing and a couple of toys we will have ample amounts and be able to help the many who come. Deadline for donations is Friday! Items can be dropped off at the family life center of FBC Magee.
We never know “who” reads our stories or post. Susan Hall posted the above information on her Facebook page this week. 1967 Magee High School alumni Jimmy Sullivan saw the post. Jimmy was a classmate of Susan’s husband Greg. Jimmy lives in Chesapeake, VA. Jimmy contacted Susan and is sending 3 boxes for the shop in memory of Greg. How awesome is that. Jimmy never forgot Greg…never.
Hope you can take something by the FBC Family Life Center. Toys are especially needed.
