On Thursday,April 26, 2025, the Magee Chamber of Commerce welcomed Magee’s newest business “Landy’s Place/The Hair Solon. Located at 501 Pinola Drive South East, Landry’s offers boutique shopping at its best!
*Landry’s Place is a local boutique that not only offers clothing for men, women & children; but also gifts, home decor,
jewelry, purses, devotionals & much
more! The boutique is owned by Magee native, Emma “Landry” Cockrell.
After graduating from Simpson County Academy in 2021, Emma then attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she received her Associates of Arts degree with an emphasis in Business. She then continued her
education at Jones College where she
graduated as Valedictorian of the 2024
Cosmetology program. Her career goal has always been to become a hairstylist/makeup artist & to own a boutique. She
was blessed to achieve her goal when she joined the amazing team of stylists at The Hair Salon. Then soon after, opened
her boutique in the front of the salon. Landry’s Place strives to offer wonderful items for everyone, all at affordable prices!
Emma is so very grateful to God for all of her many blessings! Also for the love & support of her family, friends, church
family, her boss Mrs. Connie McClellan &
the rest of the salon family, as well as all of the
wonderful customers!
In the future, whether it’s in the boutique
or providing hair or makeup services in the salon, Emma looks forward to working hard &
serving our area for many years to come!
