MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY (MAB) TREATMENT
Free screening and treatment with monoclonal antibodies (mAb) is now available through the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for qualifying individuals with COVID-19. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have mild to moderate illness, or may be at high risk for developing serious illness, you may qualify for this free treatment to prevent severe COVID-19 — no doctor visit needed beforehand. Vaccinations
More than 1,088,000 people have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Mississippi. Vaccination is very effective at preventing COVID-19 illness, hospitalization and death. Vaccination benefits you even if you have already had COVID-19. Most COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths are now among unvaccinated Mississippians.
All Mississippians aged 12 or older are now eligible for vaccination at hundreds of convenient locations statewide. Vaccinations are free to all Mississippians.
Find a free vaccination at an MSDH vaccination site. Schedule an appointment ahead of time, or drop by and make one in person. Same-day appointments are usually available.
