Lightning Causes Fire

A home located on 6^th Avenue in Magee (behind Magee School) was struck by lightning during the heavy thunderstorm Thursday evening.  The TV antenna located next to the house was the carrier of fire that caused a shed to burn and damaged an RV beside the home.

 

The family home was not damaged.

Smoke from the structure could  be seen from miles away.

 

The Magee Fire Department answered the call bringing all trucks to control the situation.
