The impeding rain did not hinder the success of the Magee Chamber of Commerce sponsored Lawn Chair Luau! Lloyd “Hurricane” Munn and the Forecasters kept the crowd entertained. Lloyd describes his band as “Buffett to Blues.”
As clouds threatened in late afternoon, the chamber Board of Directors kept the faith and the event happened.
Under the leadership of President Nancy Brown, Ural Everett Park was transformed into a “Parrot Heads” paradise! Everyone participated in dressing for the luau. Upon arrival, guest were draped with a colorful lay and offered a virgin strawberry or Pina colada. The drink was compete with an umbrella and festive straw.

As the sun went down, the party continued.
