The Simpson Academy Lady Cougars are headed to the State Championship Series!

Seniors

Our girls came ready to play and delivered two outstanding performances on Saturday—an 8-1 victory over Bayou Academy followed by a dominant 12-0 win over Parklane Academy. With those back-to-back wins, the Lady Cougars secured the right to host Game 1 of the State Championship Series next week. The official game date will be announced soon. Game 2 will be played on the road at Parklane, and if needed, Game 3 will return home to Simpson Academy.

The Lady Cougars displayed unmatched heart, grit, and determination from the first pitch to the final out. Their teamwork, precision, and energy lit up the field and kept Cougar fans on their feet throughout the day.

. “This group never gives up. They play for each other, and that’s what makes them special.”

Every Lady Cougar contributed to the team’s success—whether at the plate, in the field, or on the mound. The combination of powerful hitting and flawless defense proved too much for their opponents to handle.

Simpson Academy will now focus on the biggest series of the season: the fight for the State Championship crown.

Cougar fans are encouraged to pack the stands, wear their colors, and bring the energy as the team prepares for another thrilling week of softball action.

Congratulations to this incredible group of athletes and their coaches! You’ve made your school and community proud.

Let’s keep the momentum going, Lady Cougars—the best is yet to come!
